Avenue South Residence tops new private home sales in September
New private homes recorded the best September sales in seven years, reaching heights not seen since last July’s property cooling measures were put in place.
From the URA’s data released on Monday (16 Oct 2019), 1,270 new private residential units were sold last month, an increase of 13% from August’s sales, and 36% more than last September of 932 units.
Avenue South Residence at Silat Avenue leads the sales, followed by Parc Clematis, and Parc Botannia as the three best-selling condos in September.
Analysts reckon that such healthy sales point to home buyers’ confidence in the value of private properties in Singapore, and prices are expected to remain fairly stable for the rest of the year.
